Step 4: The final step is to multiply the result by 100 and rounded to the nearest tenth. This gives the weight loss percentage.

The formula for losing weight percent is as follows

Percentage of weight loss = [(IW CW) / IW] * 100 or (L / IW) * 100

where:
IW = initial weight
CW = current weight
L = number of pounds lost.

Just replace your weight in the above formula and get weight loss percentage. It is not simple calculation? You can keep track of your weight loss with this easy formula. Check your weight at intervals of two weeks or once a month. Add the number of pounds lost each and divided by the total number of times you saved.
